What is Community Theater?
Community theatre is a form of theater production involving local volunteers, not professional actors, and is often run as a social and artistic activity. It is a way for people to engage in the performing arts, learn new skills, and contribute to the cultural life of their community. Community theaters typically rely on volunteers for all aspects of production, from acting and directing to set design and costume creation.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Meadville Community Theatre and French Creek Community Theatre are running a Capital Campaign to outfit our new venue. Our goal is to raise $100,000 each year for three years. We have already raised more than two thirds of what we need for 2025!
Our next areas of focus are acoustic control, and the purchase and installation of a dance floor in the large rehearsal room.
